How to Fit a Corset
All our corsets are measured in even bust sizes rising in two-inch increments from a 32 inches up to 46 inches (please check individual styles for size range). In addition, some of our corsets and bustiers have cup sizes which range from A to G. Corsets should be ordered for your natural bust measurement. A good rule of thumb would be to order a non-cup-sized corset 2 inches smaller if you are a B cup, actual bust size if you are a C cup, 2 inches larger if you are a D or DD cup, and 4 inches larger if you are larger than a DD cup.
Do not lace your corset too tightly during the first few times you wear your corset – your new garment should be ‘broken in’, whereby the fabric is allowed to take the strain evenly and the corset adjusts to your body shape – and your body similarly adjusts to the compression.
For Bridal Corsets we recommend you may wish to construct a modesty panel to hide the crease at the back.
Please check the sizing chart below to find your corset size.
| Size | 6 | 8 | 10 | 12 | 14 | 16 | 18 | 20 | 22 |

| Hips | 32" | 34" | 36" | 38" | 40" | 42" | 44" | 46" | 48" |
Note: All sizes are approximate
When choosing a corset please also be aware of your height as well, as certain styles are far more suitable for those people who are somewhat longer in the torso or are over 5’ 8” in height, or are unsuitable for those below 5’ 3”. Pay particular attention to your torso as someone tall may be short-waisted and someone of smaller stature can be long-waisted. For more details on this please view the individual photographs of each corset.
Take your measurements in inches, measure around the fullest part of your bust, the narrowest part of your waist and around the top of your hips. You should also note your bra cup size. Make sure not to pull the measuring tape too tightly, it should be snug, but not binding around your body. Always measure 2 or 3 times for accuracy.
